Samsung launched its new curved gaming monitor Odyssey Ark on Saturday, featuring a 165Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. The 55-inch Odyssey Ark is also the world’s first curved monitor in such a giant form factor.

South Korean electronics giant targets professional gaming audience with 1ms response time Odyssey Ark, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Cockpit Mode and Ark Dial. In cockpit mode you can rotate the screen with HAS (height adjustable stand), tilt and pivot. The screen can be rotated up to 270 degrees.
The solar-powered arc dial can control a variety of settings such as flex-move screens, multi-view, quick settings, game bar, and more. Ark Dial can also be charged via USB Type-C.
The Odyssey Ark features Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology using Quantum Mini LEDs. The gaming monitor uses the Neural Quantum Processor Ultra processor that can upscale content up to 4K.
The Odyssey Ark uses Samsung’s Matte Display and Sound Dome Technology. The matte display offers both anti-glare and anti-reflective protection. Sound Dome features AI Sound Booster and Dolby Atmos to enhance your surround sound experience.
