VERNON, Connecticut — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Friday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. Garbage and recycling will not be collected on the day of collection, but will be collected together with regular collection on Monday, November 14th.
In the event of a delay, residents are required to keep their carts off the curbs.
The Vernon Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday, November 13th.
