Styrofoam recycling scheduled for this weekend in Centerville – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

Centerville — Montgomery County Environmental Services is working again with the City of Centerville to help recycle Styrofoam in the Miami Valley.

Organizers are asking residents to bring Styrofoam to the event on Saturday, January 7.

Anyone can bring Styrofoam into the Activity Center Park at 221 N. Main St. in Centerville from 9am to 1pm.

You do not have to live in Montgomery County to attend the event.

Event organizers said in a release not to bring used Styrofoam food containers.

More than 22,000 pounds of Styrofoam have been recycled since January 2021 with the help of this program.
