The Stafford County Landfill is located at 236 NE 10th Street. Open Monday through Friday from 11am to 3:30pm. Stafford County accepts construction demolition from waste, metal and tires. The purpose of landfills is to protect the environment by providing a controlled place to dispose of demolition waste, encourage wisdom in the use of materials and chemicals in homes and businesses, and contribute to education and resource management. to promote cooperation between Darren Reed is landfill and recycling supervisor.
The Stafford County Recycling Center is located at 400 S Exchange Street in St. John.
The recycling center accepts glass food and beverage containers, aluminum cans, steel cans, and tin cans. We also accept junk mail, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, and office paper. Two types of PET bottles are accepted: #1 (PET) and #2 (HDPE).
