    NWRA Honors Veterans in the Waste and Recycling Industry

    The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) has awarded veterans of the waste and recycling industry a unique challenge coin to honor their service to our country. These men and women, nominated by their employers, represent every branch of the military.

    “We cannot thank these brave men and women enough for their dedication to our country. Their leadership and work ethic inspire us,” said NWRA. said Darrell Smith, president and CEO of “As we pause to thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice this week, we are delighted to be able to recognize them with a challenge coin.”
