October 28—The Rotary Club of Newmarket will host a drive-up recycling event for lithium-ion batteries on November 5.
Collection will be at the Newmarket Fire Station behind the Fire Station at 76 West Main Street in Newmarket between 9am and 1pm, according to town flyers.
Items with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are acceptable, such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, electronic toothbrushes, wireless headphones, and power tool batteries.
If it is difficult to remove the battery, you may bring the whole battery. Data remaining on the device is securely stored until destroyed.
