Kawartha Lakes will be holding a Battery Collection Day from November 14th to 17th. Residents will be allowed to bring batteries to the curb along with their regular recyclables. At this time, only A, AA, AAA, C, D, 9V, button and lantern batteries are accepted.
Other batteries will continue to be accepted at the domestic hazardous waste bins at the Lindsay Ops and Fenelon landfills.
