Illegal dumping problems continue at drop-off recycling sites in McLeod County. On Friday afternoon, county officials searched the trash cans and found items that were forbidden to be thrown in the trash. Marc Telecky of McLeod County Environmental Services said this type of dumping has been around for some time. Telecky said he plans to work with the McLeod County Commission soon to seek changes to the local collection bin program.
