Firefighters battling fire at Evergreen Recycle in north Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) — Firefighters fight fires at Evergreen Recycling in northern Wichita.

“Due to a major fire at Evergreen Recycle, 53rd Street between Arkansas and Broadway is closed until further notice,” the Park City Police Department-Kansas Facebook page said.

They received a call at 6:48 p.m. to report a grass fire on the 300 block of West 53rd Street, according to the Sedgwick County Dispatch.

No injuries have been reported, according to the Sedgwick County Dispatch.

The fire can be seen at KSN’s SkyView Downtown Wichita.
