An electronics recycling event is scheduled for November 5th from 9am to noon at 847 E. Fourth St. in Seymour.
Accepted items include all televisions, batteries of all sizes and types, camcorders/cameras, computers including desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, mobile phones, copiers, DVD players, fax machines, gaming systems, electronic Includes range, printer and video equipment. , VCRs, iPods, MP3 players, pagers, palm pilots, e-readers and more.
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has partnered with the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District and Cummins and Technology Recycling to host the event.
For contactless delivery, participants will be asked to remain in their vehicles while Technology Recycler staff will unload the goods.
