Madison, Wisconsin — Madison picked its favourites, and now the name of the electric compactor for the street division has been announced.
The garbage compactor has been named Rosie the Rabbisher, and its recycling compactor twin has been called the Stone Cold Squeeze Foretee, the city announced Friday.
The two names came out on top in elections held earlier this year. Voters listed their favorite names, with the first pick giving him 5 points, the second pick giving him 4 points, and so on.
Rosie the Rabbisher didn’t get the most votes for the trash compactor (the honor went to Crash Farley), but she received the highest overall score of 4,342, according to the city. said. Crash Farley finished second overall, followed by Tracy McTrashface, Squashbob Trashpant and Alexander Crumilton.
Stone Cold Squeeze often scored the most points (3,744) and received the most overall first-place votes in the recycling compactor election. The other top five entrants were Lord Culcharlott, George Scathington, Ron Squeesley and Pulverine.
