Firefighters worked on a fire at a recycling center in Backwell.
Four firefighters were dispatched to the site at Coles Quarry, Churchtown, and found a ‘well lit’ skip at approximately 10:15 BST.
According to Avon Fire and Rescue Service, two water jets and one high-pressure hose reel were used to combat the blaze.
A service spokeswoman confirmed at 13:45 BST that the fire was “safely extinguished”.
The recycling center is currently closed.
