Avery Recycling and Disposal Transfer Station

Avery, CA – Anyone expecting to dump their trash at Avery’s Recycling and Disposal Transfer Station tomorrow will need to find another facility as it will be closed.

Household and recyclable waste will be picked up at the station at 4541 Segale Road near Avery Middle School on Highway 4 from 8am to 4:30pm Friday through Tuesday. Calaveras County Integrated Waste Management officials say the station will be closed on Friday, Nov. 4 while construction workers dismantle the old compactor and replace it with a new compactor.

The closest point for the public to drop off trash is the Red Hill Transfer Station and Yard at 5314 Red Hill Road, Vallecito. Normal operations will resume at Avery Station on Saturday (November 5th). For more information on the services offered at these facilities, please click here.

All Integrated Waste Facilities are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday.
