She says many neighbors came together Sunday night to help clean up the tumbleweed…but Kaze had other plans.
“Some people brought rakes, others were just using their hands… After everything was done, they came right back. The mountains came right back,” Wright said. rice field.
She had to send pictures to her boss and explain why she couldn’t go to work. Her car was swallowed by tumbleweed.
“I had to take a screenshot of this house that was in the news,” Wright said. “Where I work, they said it wasn’t that bad, so I had to send it to my boss. It was proof that I couldn’t get out.”
The homeowner told 11 News that the local government took care of the tumbleweed on the street, but it was his responsibility to clean up the tumbleweed on his property. He said the cleanup work was estimated to cost between $200 and $600.
