Several times a year, we host client appreciation events to thank past and current clients, as well as friends who have referred new clients. For the first time, we are hosting a Junkhole and Shredder event. So consider yourself invited!
when: February 11 (Sat) 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Where: George Jonas Park (also known as the Vienna Little League) parking lot
what: Bring it if it fits in your car!
The event is co-hosted by Jon Okun of Prosperity Mortgage.
Junk holing and shredding are provided by It’s Haul Good. Here are some guidelines for what is acceptable:
junk and donations
- Junk or donations accepted include household items or very small furniture/appliances. Acceptance quantity per person cannot exceed one car boot space.
- Large pieces of furniture, household chemicals, paints, building materials, etc. cannot be accepted.
- Attendees of this event can schedule a Crew to pick up a larger item or volume at a later date for a 10% discount off the regular price!
What about your clothes?
I will go to the donation center anyway so I can bring my clothes!
Can you take away my electrical appliances and old TVs?
Yes, you can take back your old electronics, old TVs and other electronics. However, this event does not provide data destruction, so hard drives or stored data (tablets, desktop CPUs, mobile phones) will not be erased and may be at risk. We recommend dropping large items at e-cycling centers such as Potomac E-Cycle, and smaller devices conveniently at ecoATMs.
shredding guidelines
- Secure container, shred offsite
- Hard drives or CDs are not accepted
- No on-site destruction certificate provided
- Additional list of unacceptable items — butane/propane tanks, chemicals, cleaning products, electronics, fertilizers, motor oils, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, roofing, wet paint
Note: If you have non-expired shelf-stable food, please bring it with you. Collect them all and donate them to Food for Others after the event.
