Colton Bailey started Lady Removal at Everett when he was 19 years old.

Nine years later, business is doing well.

In addition to collecting unwanted items, we also provide dismantling and collection services.
When Colton Bailey was 19, he had kids, knew he didn’t want to work for anyone else, and had an old Pathfinder from high school and $1,000.
He bought a hitch, got a trailer, installed wood walls, and started Ready Removal in Everett, Washington.
He started a one-man operation by offering three services. Clearing junk, cleaning out the garage, scooping poop.
Nine years later he has a bigger truck, a bigger trailer and an excavator.
Ready Removal offers demolition, excavation, hoarding, asset removal, whole house demos and more.
“We are still a small company,” Colton told me. “It keeps us flexible so we can respond to people quickly, work with people on pricing, and provide quick turnarounds.”
Colton says he tries to upcycle many of the items he comes across in moving, demolishing, and hoarding homes. Electronics are recycled, and items are either donated to charity or sold and resold.
I asked him if he had any unusual discoveries, and he said that a woman had a gramophone from the late 1800s that she was about to throw away.
Ready Removal works with furniture stores and realtors where customers need to replace old furniture or dispose of it before it is sold. They also work with county civil affairs departments to remove property from evictions.
