Successful recovery of downhole
During the first run, the active casing collar locator installed with the ReSOLVE iX service allowed the crew to see small debris deposits on top of the junk basket. An active debris removal tool was deployed to retrieve the debris, and shortly thereafter the crew noticed an increased load on the pumps. Metal particles, agglomerated debris, and small debris were observed when collected on the surface. A subsequent run with an active debris removal tool confirmed a debris-free junk basket and the increase in pump torque was due to the vacuum generated when the junk basket was actuated.
At that point, an anchor linear actuator tool was deployed to lift the junk basket. After a proper engagement was confirmed, the junk basket was safely retrieved and surfaced. A piece of hard metal was found at the bottom of the junk basket, consistent with traces of LIB deployed on a slickline.
