In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed into law a bill declaring November 11th as Veterans Day. Nearly 70 years later, this day is still a federal holiday and a day to honor veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

3. Dry Hooch Milwaukee

This Brady Street coffee and tea shop offers veterans and veterans supporters a casual setting and hot beverages. Dryhootch is also a non-profit organization that helps veterans and their families with a variety of reintegration issues, including PTSD, drug/alcohol addiction, and family support.

Veteran Owned Home Inspection, Chimney Sweep and Air Duct Cleaning Service based in Grafton. The owner is a US Army veteran.
5. Westarion Brewing Company

Westalion Brewing Co. is the first craft brewery to open in West Alice and is owned by Marines. It has a rotating list of on-site brewed beers and hard seltzer, currently featuring Malted Milkball Stout, General Scottish Ale, Cotton Candy Berliner Weiss, and Mustang Pale Ale.
