The Best ’90s Movies

For those who experienced them, it can be hard to believe that the 1990s were over 25 years ago. (Good, good. myself to believe it. ) Disney’s AladdinThe highest-grossing film of 1992 is now as old as the Disney original 101 Dalmatians when was it Aladdin came out first. Time doesn’t stop for people, dogs, and blue genies.

I’ve made lists of the worst ’90s movies before, but never the opposite. number one A decade of movies — even though the former required painful hours spent consuming garbage double dragon and Hulk Hogan Nanny, the latter actually involves watching a fun movie. (Know that everyone at ScreenCrush is a masochist.)

Now let’s change that. Here are our (very subjective) picks for the best movies of the 1990s. No doubt at least one or two of your favorites missed the cut. The 90’s had a lot of great movies.
