North Mankato — The Fall Junk Dropoff in North Mankato starts Thursday and runs through Sunday.
North Mankato residents may bring items to the Public Works facility located at 610 Webster Ave.
The location is open Thursday through Saturday from 7am to 5pm and Sunday from 7am to noon.
There is a queue on the north side of Webster. Citizens who unload junk can exit Lake Street and enter the queue. You must provide proof of residency in North Mankato.
Mattresses and box springs are not accepted.
We accept metals, electronic devices, small engine devices (without oil and gas), and general garbage.
We cannot accept items such as paint, grease, oil, gasoline, construction debris such as drywall, concrete blocks, insulation, light bulbs, cleaners, adhesives, mattresses and box springs.
A free shredder event is held on Saturdays from 8am until the truck is full around noon.
