According to Waste Management spokesman Paul Rosynsky, each household is provided with one free street pick-up and one dump each year, for a total of two ways to get rid of bulky junk. According to Waste Management, each curbside pickup or self-haul drop-off can contain up to 4 cubic yards of “bulky” items such as furniture, scrap metal, small appliances, cardboard, and additional landscape trimmings .
Curbside pickup is also permitted to drop items larger than 4 cubic yards, such as tires, carpets, mattresses or box spring sets, appliances, televisions, and electronics.
