There is no doubt that 2022 has been a tough year for truck manufacturers. Here are the full results for 2022 US pickup truck sales. Combined with Chevrolet and his GMC truck sales, General Motors’ full-size pickup trucks still top the list. The Ford F-Series is still the country’s best-selling truck nameplate, but the number of Ford trucks in 2022 is down -9.9% compared to his 2021. Chevrolet Silverado remains his second best-selling truck brand while Ram Trucks slips to his third place. place.
The GMC Sierra, still in fourth place, had a relatively strong year. With very strong demand and deliveries for the Sierra HD trucks, Sierra sales didn’t drop much from his 2021 numbers. The Toyota Tundra had a very successful year as sales of the new generation truck were up 15% over the previous year when the previous generation Tundra was bearish. Nissan’s Titan continues to struggle as sales of the company’s full-size his trucks have fallen by almost half.
Rivian R1T sales numbers won’t be officially reported until the company’s next earnings call. Have to wait for this.
