Waupaca County Sheriff’s Report November 13
• November 7 – A caller in Manawa, Progress Road, reported hearing someone trying to enter his apartment. She was home alone.
• November 7 – A county trunk E Ogdensburg caller reported that someone in a red single cab GMC pickup was trespassing on his property.
• November 7 – A man from Weyauwega, Trunk X county, reported that his estranged wife was posting harassment about him on social media. We have a restraining order against each other.
• November 8 – A Menasha man reported hanging upside down from a tree stand by his legs. His black truck was parked in a public hunting ground parking lot.
• 8 November – A caller in Manawa, Voslane, reported receiving a call from a security company telling him the back door was open. He checked and it was open. He wasn’t sure if anyone was with him.
• November 8 – A Division Street Iola caller reported that her mother had been parked in her driveway since 3am.
• November 9 – An unknown caller reported that a boy deliberately drank laundry soap 10 minutes earlier and had a stomach ache.
• November 10 – A Waupaca man on Shadow Lake Road reported that someone had dropped a green tote by his mailbox with old bones inside.
• November 10 – Tower Mobile in Waupaca reports two petrol vehicle thefts.
• November 10 – A man in Clintonville, Swamp Road, said another car swiped side to side while his girlfriend was hunting and her car was parked along the road. Reported.
• November 10 – A man from Weyauwega on State Highway 110 reported having a problem with his neighbor. This neighbor yelled at a worker laying a gravel road on a gravel road.
• November 11 – Embarrass’ Dollar General reported a vehicle traveling with the driver sleeping in the vehicle.
• November 11 – A Clintonville man on First Street reported the theft of a camera from his cornfield.
• November 11 – A Kobussen bus driver in Iola reported that a blue car flashed a red light while dropping students off. This happened near Petersen Road and Route 49.
• November 11 – Waupaca’s Aspirus Clinic requested a medical check-up for a man who called and said he wanted to die. He was distressed and said there was no one and no transportation.
• November 11 – Waupaca Fleet Farm reported that several subjects in gray hooded sweatshirts stole gloves and binoculars and took off in a red sedan.
• November 11 – An anonymous caller reported an altercation at an undisclosed address. About 15 minutes later there were 4-5 gunshots. The house at the address has a lot of cars and junk in the front yard.
• November 11 – A man in Trunk W, county, New London, reported hearing a loud bang that sounded like someone had hit his house. When he went outside, he saw a shadow of a man heading towards the woods.
• November 12 – A New London woman on Bureau Road reported hunters from the New London Fish and Game Club trespassing on her property.
• November 12 – A mobile phone caller called an ambulance for a man who had injured his hand with a gunshot.
• November 12 – Madison man reports contractor fraud. He gave his $6,000 check to a local roofing company.
• November 12 – A Waupaka woman from Lamplighter Lane reported gunshots near her residential area.
• November 12 – A man from Clintonville, Lunz Road, reported a human encroachment on his hunting grounds. A black VW Jetta was parked there.
• November 12 – A Manawa woman on Factory Street reported seeing a blue Ford Focus without a license plate parked in front of her home for two days, with a man appearing to be sleeping in it. The windows were steaming.
• November 13 – A woman in Weyauwega, East Street, reported that her father put his hand in his throat while he was breaking up with his boyfriend.
• November 13 – A Bear Creek woman on US Highway 45 reported a home break-in.
• November 13 – A woman from Weyauwega, Haffner Road, reported being pushed around by her boyfriend and having a screen door slammed into her face. He had taken her things out of the apartment and was threatening her.
• November 13 – A woman from Ogdensburg on Sever Street reported that her 14-year-old daughter was insane and violent. Dispatch reported that she was screaming in the background.
• White-tailed deer rutting was underway during this period and there were numerous deer-vehicle collisions. Many wounded deer had to be dispatched. He was reported to have one calf on the road near Weyauwega. One dog bite was reported in New London. A black pony was reported missing in New London. An Amazon delivery man reported being bitten by a dog. Marion had another dog bite. At Bear Creek he was reported to have had seven cattle released. A Waupaca woman reported having her two horses in her front yard.
