The Santa Ynez Chumash Environmental Office (SYCEO) will be holding a Fall Open House at the Tribal Nursery on Saturday, November 5th from 10am to 1pm.

The open house will be at Camp 4, 4400 Baseline Road, Santa Ynez.

SYCEO staff will tour nurseries and provide information on planting native species and their uses.

Native plants on display include yerba mantha, white sage, common yarrow, and California wild rose.

Attendees can also pick out locally grown pumpkins at the tribe’s nursery for free.

Coffee and light snacks will be provided.

This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.
