NASA has issued an advance solicitation notice on a potential five-year, $375 million contract vehicle consolidating procurement efforts for environmental remediation and compliance services across space agencies.
Permanent delivery/quantity contracts cover technical consulting, contamination detection, sampling and remediation, and long-term management of affected environmental media, according to a notice posted on SAM.gov Wednesday.
The selected contractor will conduct the survey, prepare the permit application, and arrange the planning and reporting.
The agency expects work to begin on February 1, 2024 and continue through January 31, 2029.
NASA noted that existing and previous remediation and compliance contracts awarded to its nine centers and facilities will not be recompeted.
