In his own words, Mike said, “I made this film because I wanted people in San Francisco, an environmentally advanced city, and in the United States to see this film. There was food, collection systems like waste reduction and composting in community gardens.The film helps people understand and learn about issues that are still poorly understood today.”

Maike believes there are some environmental myths that need to be corrected through facts. The world has a certain perception when it comes to environmental issues.
