MILLBURY — On a beautiful sunny afternoon on Friday, October 28, members of the Environmental Council Group at Millbury High School completed a fall cleanup of Howe Avenue.
Warm temperatures and sun added to their enthusiasm. Members of the city council have selected the area for cleanup because many townspeople walk or cycle along the long road.
Members of the city council were greeted by townsfolk walking, biking, or driving through the city, honking their horns and commenting “thumbs up” or “thank you” as they passed by.
The members of the council would like to thank (again) Ray’s True Value for generously letting us park in the parking lot and disposing of the more than 10 bags of litter collected during the cleanup.
