Jagatjit Industries Limited has obtained Environmental Clearance from the Department of Impact Assessment, Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Climate Change, Government of India on 14th October 2022.
According to the application, clearance to install a 200 KLPD grain-based ethanol distillery plant along with a 6.0 MW co-generation power plant (biomass-based) at our unit at Jagatjit as provided in the 2006 EIA Notice. A certificate is provided. Nagar, Village Hamira, District. Kapurthala, Punjab, which produces ethanol from grain, according to the company.
Shares of Jagatjit Industries traded at Rs65.55 per share, down Rs0.15 or 0.23% from its previous closing price of Rs65.70 per share on the BSE.
