This latest study by researchers at Ellen Medical Devices (EMD) examines environmental sustainability practices in dialysis facilities and provides insights on where improvements can be made. EMD is a George Labs initiative set up to build the world’s first affordable dialysis machine.
The study, published in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology and led by Dr. Benjamin Talbot, is based on a survey of dialysis facilities in Australia and New Zealand from November 2019 to December 2020. The results show that there is great potential for dialysis. We are working to be more environmentally friendly.
