IOP Publishing (IOPP) has published its first article in a new open access (OA) journal, Environmental Research: Health. The journal represents one of three new interdisciplinary titles launched this year, extending IOPP’s Environmental Research Series to six of his OA journals, collectively addressing all major areas of environmental science.

The launch of Environmental Research: Health provides everyone with knowledge that supports sustainable solutions for healthier people and a better world. To support the community and journal first authors, his IOPP will cover open access article processing fees (APC) for all papers submitted by the end of 2023. Other content including authoritative reviews, perspectives and opinions.
IOPP’s environmental research series combines an excellent level of author service, a comprehensive editorial policy, rigorous quality assurance, and incorporates the principles of open science at its core. In the spirit of transparency and reproducibility, authors publishing in journals are encouraged to share data and code where appropriate for the benefit of the research community. Authors also have the option to submit their papers for double anonymous and transparent peer review.
