Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Halloween is less than a week away and everyone in town is gearing up for the holidays. The Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center on the Laredo College campus is no exception. They’re transforming the Paso del Indio nature trails to accommodate creepy people.
There are two versions of the trail, both opening on Thursday, October 27th. Children’s trails are 6-7:30 PM, cargo hikes are 8-8 PM. 10 p.m. Admission is $6 for children 15 and under, $10 for those 16 and older.
Bianca Brewster, director of the Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center, said the trail is a long stretch of just under 800 meters. “People will be able to walk, hike, and enjoy night trails with night views. We will also have stations where they will appear out of nowhere and scare people,” Brewster said. I’m here. It is recommended that everyone wear their own costume.
This will be the last public event hosted by the Center. The center is scheduled to close in December for renovations. All proceeds are used to upgrade animal enclosures.
