Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S), headquartered in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, ordered a Mack LR Electric model from Mack Trucks to meet its environmental and sustainability goals. Mack LR Electric operates in residential areas in Quebec or British Columbia and is equipped with Labrie automatic sideloaders.
“Mack is delighted that the E360S has chosen to purchase the Mack LR Electric model for its first electric garbage truck. We have an ongoing commitment to meet our customers’ sustainability goals, as well as Mac’s goal of making 35% of our vehicles electric.”
E360S is a North American environmental management company founded in 2018 by Donato Ardellini. We provide environmental and waste management solutions to municipal, industrial, commercial and institutional customers. The company has operations in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia. E360S currently has over 170 garbage trucks and wanted to add an electric vehicle to its fleet. The company launched an investigation and Mack was the frontrunner, said Gio Procaccini, director of fleet and branding for the E360S.
“We already had a great relationship with Mack Trucks and knew the next-generation Mack LR Electric was the vehicle we wanted to buy,” adds Procaccini. “Mac has a strong presence in the waste industry and the LR Electric is based on proven technology, so we are very excited to receive the order.”
“The industry and the world will become greener, and we want to be at the forefront of that and order more Mac LR Electrics for residential areas,” continues Procaccini. The E360S will be on order for more LR Electric models.
