United’s Lost Bag Delivery Service Brings Luggage to McDonald’s and Goes Shopping
If the airline has lost your package, they will usually track and deliver your package. That’s the best case (sometimes lost luggage bags end up in the trash).
It is not an airline employee who will take you from the airport to your accommodation. A few years ago, Delta experimented with leveraging the gig economy. Basically the service he uses Uber to deliver lost packages. You can even become a lost and found driver by registering!
The story of a United Airlines customer’s lost bag tracked using an AirTag is the story of one of these third-party delivery services. The airline turns it inside out, basically losing sight of the bag and assuming the contractor does the job and makes the delivery.
On New Year’s Day, Valerie Shibala shared that United had lost her luggage. She refuted the airline’s explanation that her bag was in a “delivery service’s distribution center,” and the airline told her to “calm down.” Please,” I promised.
Szybala was worried because she had tracked the bag to a trash can behind the apartment complex. There were other bags by the trash can, presumably empty. United Airlines stopped responding.

The bag then indicated it was in transit. He stopped to eat at McDonald’s. But perhaps when the meal fills you up, returned to That same trash can.
The next day her bag was on the move again.

It is then returned to that apartment complex and finally delivered.

I can’t help but think that the apartment complex was adjacent to the vendor’s storage warehouse, and the bag was loaded into the car and driven along with the other bags that were delivered first. , the vendor’s driver eventually came to offer it.
