ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With spring and summer approaching, people around Albuquerque may be planning home renovation projects. Patricia Pantoja, owner of Redbox Plus Albuquerque, has some info on what not to throw in the trash when remodeling your home this spring.
Redbox Plus offers commercial and residential dumper rentals. A 30-yard trash can holds an average of nine truckloads, Pantoja said. Most things can be thrown in the trash. Items containing chemicals such as paint and batteries cannot be thrown away. Large electrical appliances such as refrigerators, tires and mattresses cannot be thrown in the trash.
