- Employees at Cerebral Brewing in Denver are taking paid time off to vote. The brewery is giving employees up to two hours off this year to research issues and candidates and submit votes. Brewery owner Sean Buchan said the company started the practice two years ago during the 2020 presidential election as a perk for its employees.(9News)
- Of Denver’s more than 25,000 rental units, fewer than 300 have applied for permits. Beginning in January, all landlords of rental units and above must obtain a permit from the City of Denver. The problem is that only a handful have been compliant so far. (denverite)

- Denver NFT scammer arrested and has to pay back $275,000. Tyler Gaye allegedly took money from investors to buy Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), but instead of participating in the deal, Gaye took the money and fled. Last Friday, a Denver judge awarded Gaye a default judgment of $275,000 after he failed to comply with the lawsuit. (local today)
- Wildfire risk factors increase as the region can experience dry and windy winters. Fire experts are preparing for the worst this winter, using last December’s Marshall fires as a benchmark. (FOX31)
