    The Ohio EPA is imposing a tight schedule on Evans Landscaping after ordering it to clean up sites where it illegally dumped construction and demolition debris and test water quality.

    According to a consent order filed in Hamilton County Court, within the next two months, Evans Landscaping will be required to build one groundwater well, repair another well, and begin water testing near 4229 Round Bottom Road. I have. By the end of November, illegally dumped waste must be exhumed and removed at 8361 Broadwell. And by the end of the year, the company plans to build a cap at 4455 Mount Carmel Road to keep the water clean.

    He was also fined $550,000. The Little Miami Conservancy will receive a quarter of the funding, $137,500.

    Conservancy Executive Director Jason Brownknight was pleased to be tasked with cleaning up the site.

    “We feel that if defendants follow timelines and do what they set out to do, it will be a big improvement in addressing the issue,” he says.

    Brownknight has a plan for how the reserve will spend its money.

    “All the projects that we intend to use these funds for will be in Hamilton County and will benefit these residents. You can do it by doing.”

    The organization also funds educational programs and research.
