    As of this posting, Talay Thai has not been re-inspected and has not been cleared to reopen.

There are 3 flies on the wall under the prep table next to the room *3 live flies flying around in the prep area next to the water heater *3 on the wall of the ice machine station *4 live Flies flying around the dishwashing area and landing on sanitized pans.*2 live flies flying around the pantry/salad station at the cookline.*3 live flies flying around the pizza station. *Five live flies fly around and land on dining room tables and seats.”

In the area, *>100 fly carcasses were observed on two insect strips hanging from the ceiling, *>10 fly carcasses on strips hanging from the ceiling of the dry storage room.

    “Employees touching ready-to-eat food with bare hands – food not heated to 145°F as a single ingredient or cooked/heated to minimum temperature required to allow bare-hand contact. The facility did not have an approved alternative operating procedure – Servers were observed putting berries into customer drinks with their bare hands.”

    “Time/temperature control for safe food coldness kept above 41 degrees Fahrenheit. – Observed spicy pepperoni at 46 degrees Fahrenheit at a frontline pizza station. Operator said in about hourly increments. The operator has been moved to a walk-in cooler.”

    “There is no hand wash sink available for employees to use at all times. Observed trash cans were stored in front of the hand wash sink in the prep area next to the water heater room. Observed. The operator removed the trash can and removed the lemon.”

    “The plumbing system is broken. – Water was observed leaking from under the hand wash sink in the dishwashing area.”

    “Hand wash sink, three compartment sink, or mop sink is full of water or drains very slowly. rice field.”

    “Walls stained with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust. -Dusty walls observed towards rear door. -Dust stained ceiling observed in dishwashing area. it was done.”

    “Worn, torn, and/or dirty floors/carpet. – Observed the floor under the hand wash sink in the dishwashing area that was stained with a mold-like substance.”
