The Douglas County Department of Public Works reopened a 7-mile section of the Tiller Trail Highway at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The road between Milepost 35 and Milepost 42, the county line, has been closed since Wednesday evening due to inclement weather and dangerous road conditions. The crew worked all night to clear the debris caused by the weather phenomenon. Cleanup continues with flaggers to help control traffic.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traveling in this area.
