Pueblo, Colorado (KRDO) — Litter and litter are said to be the most common civic complaints in this city. Authorities are getting large federal budgets to have a greater impact on clean-up efforts.
The city will receive $1 million from the American Recovery Planning Act (ARPA) to focus on clearing trash and debris throughout the city.
The authorities spend the money on hiring coordinators to oversee the program, hiring trucks and other equipment, and hiring unemployed, homeless, or low-income part-time workers.

KRDO will send a crew to Pueblo on Wednesday to learn more about the program. Check out this article for updates, and watch our newscasts at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM for the full report.
