It’s not that I usually miss working downtown, but I do miss some things, like being able to pop out and watch the parade.

For the past few years we have pulled our grandchildren out of school for the parade. It’s a parade of the best of Americana and Denver.

I was wondering why Miss Grandin (someone I respect) would have a stock show, as I’m sure animal trauma is involved. / If we could see sensitive animals, our treatment of them might be improved.

I don’t like it either. But as native Coloradans, for many people in the state, this is a big deal to sell animals (or torture them in exhibition games).
