Childhood friends Christopher LeBlanc and Chuck Herman started Who’s Your Dumpster Inc. in March after LeBlanc saw a need for cleanup services in the community.
Working in the homebuilding and contracting industry, LeBlanc knew his community needed help disposing of the rubble and junk that contractors might leave behind when building their homes. In that realization, LeBlanc came up with the idea for Who’s Your Dumpster.
“We offer a casual trash delivery service that allows our clients to pick up their unwanted junk at any time,” explains Harman.
Who’s Your Dumpster offers a 3-day rental for $285, with an additional charge of $15 for each additional day (up to 5 days). Prices include tip and dumping, with zero hidden costs for garbage truck renters. In addition to daily rentals, Who’s Your Dumpster recently added a $150 pick-up option for landscaping supplies such as rocks and mulch.
“Our trash cans already have wheels, making them easy, clean, discreet and user-friendly,” says Harman.
One of Who’s Your Dumpster’s unique features is the flexibility of its service, making it ideal for residential and commercial cleanups. Variable rental options allow homeowners to use her LeBlanc and Harman services for housework and yard work. Construction workers, roofers, builders, and contractors can also use trash services for commercial cleaning.
The biggest challenge Who’s Your Dumpster has faced since its launch in March has been rising tipping fees at county dumps and competition in the marketplace. Still, Who’s Your Dumpster serves about 30 customers and wants to expand its customer base to include more commercial workers.
LeBlanc and Harman met in the fourth grade at Brandon’s Nativity Catholic School. Harman said the most rewarding part of Who’s Your Dumpster was working with his lifelong friend.
