Kaukauna — Reef pick-ups in Kaukauna have been extended until next week, according to a social media post from the city of Kaukauna.
The crew will finish this week’s route, including Alley, on Monday, November 14, 2022.
Then they go through the city trying to collect leaves, weather permitting.
Rake leaves are placed only on terraces at the edge of the pavement. Grass and garden trash cannot be picked up.
Property owners should rake leaves in low piles when children are playing with them so they do not block traffic, hide from the view of motorists, or be placed near curbs. is required.
Reef equipment can only reach 6 feet, so this is important to keep the crew moving through the route.
Leaves do not clog sewers, so do not put them in gutters.
Gives the collection crew equipment a working space. Don’t park near piles of leaves, as the city’s installations are long and you can’t stack the collection hose if your car gets in the way. We do not collect piles of cars on the way.
Try to keep the pile away from trees and mailboxes to minimize the possibility of property damage.
