Hollywood, MD- At approximately 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022, the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) responded to a reported debris fire at the Salvage Yard on Block 43900 of Commerce Avenue.
Upon arrival, they found a large debris fire exposed to several large items, including a large pile and a school bus.The HVFD responded with 16 personnel and controlled the blaze in 30 minutes and another hour. was cleaned.
HVFD said the location was the site of numerous large debris fires. A fire brigade report is pending.
