Hurricane Ian made landfall near Cayo Costa, an island off the coast of Fort Myers, shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday. With Ian, it was her fifth strongest hurricane to make landfall in the United States, with winds of 150 mph. Gorda near the pirate port. ”
