Rheinlander Fall Yard waste cleanup is scheduled to begin on October 31st. Residents must have brushes and bags of leaves ready by 7am on Monday, October 31st. Pickups will take place until November 11th. Residents past this deadline will have to transport their garden waste and brushes to Oneida County Solid Waste at their expense.
The following conditions apply.
• A clear plastic or paper bag is required.
• Brushes should be free of ropes, wires, lumber or other debris and neatly stacked with the cut ends facing the street. We do not pick up bags that contain a mixture of yard waste and household waste.
• Residents are not permitted to rake up curbs, curbs, street foliage, or yard debris. Violators may be charged for cleanup or issued a subpoena.
• Do not stack brushes in leaf bags as each item will be picked up separately.
Yard trash cleaning is for city residents to maintain their yards, not for cleaning for residential tree removers, developers, businesses or vacant lots on tax exempt properties. Residents are asked to help slow the spread of invasive species by isolating buckthorn, exotic honeysuckle, and Japanese knotweed. 4727).
