Removed over 60,000 cubic yards of debris in 17 days
orange county, florida – In its 18th day of operation, Orange County Public Works crews and contractors have removed more than 60,000 cubic yards of debris. Most of the debris consists of vegetation and construction materials.
Within hours of Hurricane Ian leaving Orange County, a team from Public Works began on-site damage assessments and clearing debris from county-maintained streets and roads.

The crew continues to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week clearing debris and meeting the needs of Orange County residents. Contractors continue to survey the county daily to ensure all required cleanups are scheduled and completed.
