Sanibel, FL — Residents of Sanibel can now apply for debris removal from their private and commercial properties.

The Hurricane Ian Debris Cleanup Program, administered by the Florida Division of Emergency Management, includes services to remove debris from abandoned vehicles, vessels, and other property from eligible facilities.

Anyone wishing to file an application must report that they own property in Lee County and have lost property and title due to Hurricane Ian.

Not all applicants are guaranteed eligibility for removal of debris or return of transferred title.

See the web for details on how to apply.
