Florida residents affected by Hurricane Ian can use a free service to connect with volunteers to help clear debris.

Crisis Cleanup works with various Florida city authorities to connect disaster survivors with volunteers willing to help after Ian’s devastation.

Residents who need help collecting debris or damaged items can call the Home Cleanup Hotline at 800-451-1954 for free assistance from volunteers, local relief organizations, community groups, and faith communities. You can receive it.

These groups may assist with felled tree removal, drywall, flooring, appliance removal, roof tarps, and mildew mitigation. However, due to overwhelming demand, service cannot be guaranteed.

The hotline will be available until October 28th.

This service cannot assist with social services such as food, clothing, shelter, insurance, or FEMA registration questions.

If you’re interested in volunteering for cleanup and recovery efforts, visit www.volunteerflorida.org to see opportunities.
