Operation Get It Up is a small plasma-based power system that provides propulsion for small cubic satellites and will be installed on top of the Falcon 9 SpaceX rocket, which is scheduled to launch next month.
It was designed by engineers at space startup Magdrive, based out of the Harwell Science Campus in south Oxfordshire. Operation Get It Up’s successor, So Much for Subtlety, is 5x stronger. In the pipeline is Look What You Made Me Do, which again makes him five times more powerful and fires 100 plasma shots.
